As I get dressed every morning and stare into my closet full of black, white, heather grey, and army green, I picture what it would be like to have a fun and vibrant closet.   A fantastic colored garment can really make you stand out and look quite chic and expensive.  And the right colors are timeless and season-less.

.....I'm thinking a closet redo for my bday with more colors like these!

Hey hey Vacay

Packing for my memorial day vacation to Florida with the fam has me dreaming up all kinds of outfits perfect for this holiday. I ended up buying 5 swimsuits and not much else...go fig.

Wishlist: Vacation Nights & Vacation Brights

17 days till I'm off to Florida with the fam, and I am beyond stoked! However, after having a taste of heat recently, I pulled out my cute skirts and dresses to wear only to find they don't fit! Does this count as first world problems? Anyway, losing weight is a glorious thing, don't get me wrong....but for someone who loves fashion as much as I, losing a large percentage of my wardrobe is heartbreaking. After I raid a couple buffalo exchanges, and alter a few of my favorite things, these items are definitely on my wish list...

If I lived here...

If I live here, I'm currently living out of a van on a beach in Hawaii with my fellow beach bum babes. This is just my break from life as I search out life's greatest mysteries while riding waves all day and burning bonfires all night.  My van is brightly painted on the outside with all kinds of sprawling flowers and ocean art.  It is parked next to our Babe Bungalow where we cook and hang out on the reg.  We have a conglomerate of palm trees to the other side of the shack where all of our hammocks swing in the wind.  On days that I'm not surfing and relaxing, I'm teaching art at a near by school or having band practice with the girls.  I play the guitar and sing back up vocals, but I am trying to learn to play the harmonica.  It is always fun when the yachts and fishing boats come in to dock - we throw fun parties for the visitors (cough cough guys), but always send them on their way when their time has run out. This babe gang of heartbreakers are like sisters to me - pulling all nighters just to talk about nothing, cooking each other meals, sharing clothes, helping at all times of day, and just being rockstars.  I'll be super bummed when I have to check back into reality, but I'll never forget this true paradise.

Zimms Timing

Somehow perfectly timed, I received an email this morning about Zimmermann doing surf pieces! I was on the fence about surfing, but she is making it even more tempting.  Check out the new pieces at shopbop!

Finally someone who thinks outside of the box when it comes to swimsuits! I am no highschooler who wears teensy bitty strings (well, unless I want a tan), and I am definitely no old lady who needs a high necked snug and uber covering onesie (though I do love me a good one piece).  Zimmermann knocked everyone out of the water last year with her sold out lingerie inspired pieces, and this year I am equally pleased.  Feast and buy.
