As I am plotting my excursions to NYC, Montana, Texas, Hawaii, Vegas, and London for the next 6 months, I start to imagine what kind of room would fit a world traveler.  I picture something cozy, but vibrant with textures and lots of personality. The decor and furniture would be inspired by all parts of the globe, and elements of nature and vintage accessories sprinkled throughout.

Fall '14 Couture shows are rolling out, and if I don't see another after this one, I would be totally fine with it.  I am majorly inspired and willing to bet this springy line will stand out amongst the others.  Oh to be a bee at this show..

Monday Blues

My 4th of July

Even though all of the BBQs and pool parties will be no doubt exciting, I am really looking forward to a 3rd day to my weekend.  All I want to do for my 4th is lay at the pool/beach, bike ride a bit, watch some American themed movies with my firework fearing pup, and light up some fun sparklers on a roof top while fireworks go off in the distance...and maybe toast a s'more or two.  Give me simple and sweet with a plethora of snuggles!

Seeing Sunsets

I will never ever ever tire of seeing a sunset.  I have raced home many times from work just so I can walk down to the marina and watch as the sun sinks down over the water.  All of the colors are so vibrant, romantic, and engulfing.  I can get lost in my thoughts, but always leave feeling optimistic and happier having just seen something so naturally beautiful.  I take a crazy number of instagrams of those sunsets that I think Rusty might be a little envious of their screen time. ;)

I am glad that others find inspiration and joy from the sunsets...let's hope this trend stays a while!
