I'm obsessed with the TV show Scandal right now, and they call themselves gladiators.....so I am thus calling myself a gladiator because.... yeah. There are also these sandals we call gladiators too, and they are quite popular once again this summer. I've never gone for the really tall kind myself, but I can certainly appreciate a gal who does. They are bold and fun....I say go for it, gladiators!
Stumbled upon this fun sweater, and it inspired me to put this little fantasy together. One part unicorn, 3 parts rainbow, 1 part rock, and a splash of wine...naturally. Don't forget to be yourself, unless you can be a unicorn, then always be a unicorn.
Are you feelin' groovy baby?! Some of you might be getting back into those hippie vibes right about now. We are seeing lots of fringe and flare, but soon we will be seeing the oranges, purples, suede, and more from the good ole days of pre my birth.
This Copy That was a tough one! I was determined to do it because I am in love with this Veronica Beard skirt from her pre fall 2015 collection. It reminds me of a pink corduroy button down one I got from the Gap a million years ago that is still hanging in my closet! I also wanted to make this more affordable, so I hope you go and copy it!
Inspired by my new skort, the warm summer air, and feeling quite fem, I wanted an easy yet playfully accessorized summer outfit. I'm not usually one for a necklace AND earrings, but for such a simple top and bottom, why not? Now where's the beach party?!
I am always inspired and influenced by country western. Heck, I own at least 6 pairs of cowboy boots that should really see the light of day more often. Also, when stage coach rolls around, I am pretty amazed at how many people bust out their western fashion senses....so maybe ya'll are a wee bit country!

Anyone else have PINEAPPLES on the brain? If so, it's because they are everywhere and this summer's most popular fruit. Makes me thirsty...do you like pinacoladas, or getting lost in the rain?
items from Society 6, FarFetch, TopShop, H&M, Zara, Cynthia Rowley, Anthropologie, Nasty Gal, and ASOS.
I am so blessed to live on the breezy west coast where the cool wind allows for layers upon layers. However, I grew up in the south where all you wanted to wear in the summer was as close to nothing as you could get. It gets so hot and humid that even jewelry sounds terrible, and you have to change your outfit multiple times a day. Those looming days are for outfits like these - 2 small pieces packed with lots of personality. A simple top and simple bottom, but in bold mixed prints that you'll be sure to stand out...this is for all my homies in the heat...
It seems as though everyone I know is going through a slump, myself included. Whenever life throws hard balls, I always make every maneuver to dodge them. After downloading some awesome pump up music, watching the cheesiest movies, and lots and lots of drinks with friends, I turn to shopping. Ok, who are we kidding. Shopping happens first. BUT, I am not thinking clearly when I emotionally shop, so I tend to go back for round two at the end. This round two is gonna be fun and wild...well at least a girl can wish...
