The goal was to fill the arm this weekend with Venice Beach goodies!  I think we turned out pretty durn goody if I say so myself!  And I fake dyed my hair pink and turquoise....loved it so much, I am thinking of doin it for reals. Wonder if my boss would let that slide.... =)

Petite but Pricey Wishes

First I have to say that I love my bed.  It is so cool and the best deal I have ever found!  This bed below is not to replace her, but it is for my future ranch in my future guest room with windows all around looking on to the lake and wild frolicking deer.  Big dreams over here. Big dreams.

I felt like I had finally found THE black booty (bootie??) - either way, I giggle - and they don't have my size! Shame on them.  And they are the only company who carries it - so come on Sole Struck, find my size por favor.  Dannijo ring - um duh - it's awesomely easy to see the awesomeness.  That sentence reminds me of Because I Said So... oh cheesey chic flicks do make me happy.  And strangely motivated. Major BTW - this ring is on sale at Saks...not at ShopBop.

Back to the topic at hand - love me some vests, like you didn't know ;).  This one is like uber expensive, so just lookey no touchy.  And Rebecca Minkoff can do no wrong.  Except for the part where I have yet to own a Rebecca Minkoff bag.  One day friends.  Big Dreams =)

iPAD wishes

I seriously am in love with my iPad.  Yes, marriable love. ;)   I use it for all the important things like home decorating magazines, Hunger Games, True Blood, Mad Men, and Angry Birds of course.  It is even stashed in my purse right now because I expect today to be a tad slow at the office.  However, it wouldn't be hiding out in my purse if it had a rad case like one of the below!  Did you even know that all of these glorious designers even made iPad cases? Me neither. Soooo excited that they do. SOOOOO bummed that I have no mas mula.

Can I you tell I like animal print!!? I also like fringe.

Mix it UP

I have another plan for the heat besides a mystery vest that I have yet to find! BTW my car said it was 97 degrees today....I even wore shorts to work today and felt no remorse.  It was a sauna and I was prepared!  So my plan for you??  Mix up some crazy prints.  You know how it seems like being creative in fashion right now is how you are able to play with proportions and layer like 6 things on you at a time?  Well it's darn hot, and I would prefer to not wear anything other than a swimsuit and definitely no more than 2 pieces of clothing. Why not try and put some prints together?  We do this all the time in our homes....and in scrapbooking...I mean used to do in scrapbooking =).  Why not attempt in our outfits?  Here are some that I put together through my online browsing last week.  It was a little challenging, but I would totally try out all of these.

It is only gonna get hotter as this dry summer goes on....or maybe I have heat on the brain cuz it is like a furnace in TEXAS! But I must prepare for the upcoming LA heat waves like all good fashion lovers.  This means being able to layer and wear trends whilst not melting away.  The only little solution I have for you now are to incorporate vests.  For me, I really want some great, baggy, boyfriend-style, vests.  Military. Utility. You name it.

If you know me, I am like the cardigan queen.  Since high school, I like to throw on a cardigan...and they probably consume a large portion of my closet.  I am an avid supporter of the cardigan.  Yet if you know it is going to be scalding out, the last thing you want is sleeves.  So, let's gather together and help persuade the fashion designers out there to create more awesome vests.....cuz all the good ones are sold out!

I wish the CLUB MONACO one was still available, and my second choice is the sold out JCrew one.  The Neil Barret is fantastic, but I don't quite have the dough.  The rest consist of all I can find so far....but still not quite the one for me.  Like men.  Only kidding! I am sure he is out there somewhere along with that vest =)

Alas....Until we find our vests, just pile on your most fabulous accessories with your little tank and cut-off shorts.  Accessories are golden during a hot hot summer!

Austin Wish List

I have been waiting for this day for months!!! I get to see my college roommate/one of my most favorite people in the whole wide world today, and nothing can knock me down.

Wait. What did you say? It is going to be over 100 degrees?  Hmmmmmm. Wish I wasn't so spoiled with my constant 75 degree weather.  IF only that were truth.  It does get hotter here, contrary to what many of you think.  Plus I don't have AC! Imagine that. Actually don't.....I mean... girls don't sweat!

So, you said it was hot in Texas? ;) What ever will I wear?  Wishin' I had some of the below.  I actually got online to buy the Twenty8Twelve vest after I found it a few days ago, and it is already sold out. I KNEW IT! Darn everyone with the same thoughts as me. Darn you all to even hotter weather... ;)
