If I lived here...

If I lived here, this would be my private lounge leading to my room sized closet and fabulous spa bathroom.   I'd spend many hours relaxing in the chaise reading the new books by Stephenie Meyer and J.K. Rowling as all Twilight and Harry Potter obsessed fans would do.  Rusty would get kicked out all the time for dirtying up the lounge, but he'd be happy running outdoors with his two other rescue sisters.  This would primarily be my retreat for studying all of my film scripts because I would be a successful actress.  My break out role would probably be a rom-com, but I would rise to success with the help of my fashion sense and indie films.  Shine, glam, sparkle, and color would describe my glorious wardrobe.  My shoes would be sky high, yet magically comfortable, and I'd live in straight-from-the runway looks.  Standing out in a crowd would not be frightening, but instead exciting.  There would be too many boyfriends to note, and I would still have a good amount of years before the right one came along.  So, girls' night would be weekly with professionals coming over to do manis, pedis, and martinis while we watch the newest yet to be released movies in my movie room.  Life would be full of friends, fashion, glamour, and adventure.  Amazing.

Are you ready for the Longhorn invasion of Los Angeles this weekend??  I am...mentally...but as far as fashionably, not quite.  I do have my fair share of official Longhorn apparel, but it would be fun to be more Longhorn inspired than Longhorn adorned....

If only these were mine....and if only we I actually dressed up for games....

When I live here...

I think I stole this pic from someone else's blog or Pinterest, but what matters is that it is quite possibly one of the best bedrooms I have seen.  It is the perfect mix - little vintage, part glamour, quite neutral, wonderfully classic, yet very fun.  It is my new inspiration for updating my room/apt!

That being said - I've decided to plan make up where I want to be/what I want to have accomplished by the time the delectable designs from NYFW Spring 2012 are out in the market:

By next spring I will have been on my exciting Asian excursion and learned so much more about the world.  My photo skillz will be even greater after getting to take pictures of Thailand beaches and Indian markets.  Many of my travel pics will be blown up and framed around the house.  I will be able to play more than one song (current status) on my guitar, and after convincing Curt (or Robyn depending which city I am residing in) to move near me, our awesome band will begin!  I'll have to up my shopping because all the training for the half marathon is going to make me miraculously lose those last pounds I've been dreaming of shedding for the past couple of years.  It will be totally ok though because my many fashion and photog side jobs will help supply that spendin' dough.  By then I wish for more than 10 followers (cough cough hint hint).....so maybe I can get some advertising up in here.  I'll either be in a house in Venice beach, CA or a loft apartment in Brooklyn, NY, but still baking (even better) cake bites for all my friends.  Actually cake bites will prob be out of style by then...I'll go with gourmet grilled cheeses! Hmmm....I'm hungry now. darn it.

It's funny because I can't really predict beyond this month...but it is a little exciting dreaming!

Wallet Wishes

I oh so cleverly left my wallet at the Austin airport and didn't even realize it was missing until I was trying to pay for my parking at LAX over 5 hours later!  Yes, I'm the dork that spent the whole flight glued to Friday Night Lights and obviously not sipping any cocktails that would have required me to pull out said wallet. SO sadly after those many o'hours had passed, the cute little patent leather Coach wallet I once had was lost...along with my Crate and Barrel gift card darn it!  Anyway, bygones. Time for a new and more fabulous wallet I say! Let's go shoppin' broccoli. I think my dad used to say that =)
